Who We Are

Our Story So Far

Meet our Founding Pastors, Butch and Judy Farnum!  It's the vision that God gave them in 1979 that is still growing strong today.  The Farnums are active members of Bethel and reside as elders on the church leadership team. It's they who birthed and grew this vision to what it is today, laying the groundwork for a great move of God!

Vision and Mission

Our mission is to attract and lead the lost to Jesus (LOVE); to encourage Christians to consecrate themselves to God's purpose in their lives 
​(LIBERATE); to equip believers for effective ministry (LEAD); and to reach the Orangeburg area and beyond house to house, city to city, and nation to nation (LAUNCH).

​Accountability

Bethel partners with DOVE Christian Fellowship International. DOVE exists to facilitate and nurture meaningful relationships among Christian leaders, equipping and enabling them to be more effective in their callings, for the purpose of building and multiplying strong local churches around the world. Leadership Team

Bethel believes strongly in servant leadership.  Our leaders are chosen by God and are the servants of all in the house of God.  We believe that every member is a minister and has his or her place in the body of Christ to minister!
